WELLSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - The Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation has awarded a $370,000 grant for redevelopment of 14 sites in West Virginia’s Northern Panhandle and western Pennsylvania.

The Business Development Corp. of the Northern Panhandle and the Pittsburgh-based Riverside Center for Innovation are partnering on the projects.

The Herald-Star (https://bit.ly/1i1TH4O ) of Steubenville, Ohio, reports that the two groups announced the foundation’s three-year grant on Tuesday outside the former Brooke Glass factory in Wellsburg. The site is among those to be developed.

Seven of the sites are in Allegheny and Beaver counties in Pennsylvania.
