METAIRIE, La. (AP) - Soprano Katharine Dain and pianist Jeffrey Grossman will perform in a free concert April 27.
The presentation will be at 2 p.m. at the Jefferson Parish East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon Ave., Metairie.
Nola.comThe Times-Picayune reports (https://bit.ly/Qa5yHH ) the concert is sponsored by the Piatigorsky Foundation, a nonprofit organization that promotes classical music.
Dain’s has performed major concert works of Handel, Mozart, Purcell, Stravinsky and others.
Grossman is co-leader of a Baroque ensemble called the Sebastians and has performed with groups in New York.
