PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. (AP) - Three southeast Missouri men charged with first-degree murder in the April death of a 60-year-old Portageville man are expected to make their first court appearance on Monday.

The Southeast Missourian (bit.ly/1reXMHX ) reports that Gunner Lee Pind, Kevin Slayton and Cody Edward LeGrand were arrested Thursday in Pemiscot County. They are accused of killing Roy Clifton Jerrolds, who was found shot to death inside his burning home on April 10.

Two others face charges in New Madrid County of receiving stolen property as well as drug offenses in connection with a burglary at Jerrolds‘ home.

The three men charged in his death also face charges of armed criminal action, theft/ stealing and second-degree arson. The three are being held in the Pemiscot County Jail without bond pending arraignment.
