BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (AP) - An inmate who escaped from the Huntington Work Release Center is back in custody and facing new charges.

West Virginia State Police Lt. Michael Baylous says Trooper D.J. Lowry received information about 34-year-old Sandra Williams‘ location on Saturday. Lowry found the Huntington woman at a residence near Audra State Park in Barbour County.

Baylous says Lowry arrested Williams and 27-year-old Terry L. Duke of Buckhannon after finding precursors used to make methamphetamine inside the residence.

Williams and Duke are both charged with attempting to operate a clandestine laboratory and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Duke is being held at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail. Baylous says Williams was returned to the Department of Corrections’ custody.
