CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (AP) - Cabela’s Inc. says it will employ 225 people at its first New York location, scheduled to open this fall at a suburban Buffalo shopping center.
The Buffalo News reports (https://bit.ly/1lAFSSz ) the Sidney, Neb.-based chain of outdoor gear and sporting goods stores announced Monday that it’s accepting applications for full- and part-time employees for the store scheduled to open this fall at the renamed Cabela’s Crossing, located just off Interstate 90 in Cheektowaga (cheek-tuh-WAH’-guh).
The 88,000-square-foot store will be Cabela’s first in New York state. In addition to outdoor products, the store will include a large mountain replica, indoor archery range, boat shop and deli.

Cabela’s operates 53 stores across North America with plans to open an additional 21 over the next two years.
