MURRELLS INLET, S.C. (AP) - There are more than 300 kinds of birds that can be sighted at Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet during the year. And the park is marking that with a movie that is, well, for the birds.

On Friday, the park is hosting an open air showing of the movie “The Big Year.” It stars Jack Black, Owen Wilson and Steve Martin. It’s a comedy about bird watching.

The film is free with park admission. People are being asked to bring their lawn chairs and bug spray. The film rolls when it gets dark and refreshments are for sale at the park gift shop.
