ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - A 36-year-old New York City motorcyclist is facing drug charges and resisting arrest after leading state police on a high-speed chase and getting caught with over one pound of cocaine.

Carlos Sued (SOO-ed) of the Bronx was speeding Wednesday afternoon on the New York State Thruway near Albany. When troopers attempted to pull him over, Sued sped away on his Yamaha motorcycle, reaching speeds of over 130 miles per hour and weaving in and out of traffic.

When Sued tried to make a U-turn, he dropped the motorcycle, fled on foot, was quickly apprehended, and found to have over 1.5 pounds of cocaine.

Sued, who’s being held without bail in Albany County Jail, is due in court on Friday.

It could not immediately be determined if he had an attorney.
