COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Mark L. Gillispie, a veteran northeast Ohio journalist who covered courts, crime and government for The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer, has been hired as a reporter in the Cleveland bureau of The Associated Press.

The appointment was announced Tuesday by Karen Testa, editor for the AP’s East region, and Deb Martin, news editor for Ohio.
