One of the turtles is named Miss Royal. She is 215 pounds and was picked up off Beaufort County with a propeller wound to her shell and right rear flipper.

The second turtle, weighing just over 70 pounds, is named Nud. The turtle found stranded in Georgetown County suffering from a skin infection. Nud received fluids, antibiotics and laser treatment to speed the healing process.
