FLORISSANT, Mo. (AP) - A veteran of nearly four decades at St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley is now the interim president.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/QZlkWa ) reports that Ruby Curry has been appointed to the post. Curry has been with the college for 38 years, serving as Physical Education Department chair, dean of the Business and Human Development division and coach of women’s basketball and softball teams.

Curry was inducted into the National Junior College Athletic Association Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.
