NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) - A second Natchez man has been charged with murder in a Feb. 23 fatal shooting.
Natchez Police Detective Jerry Ford tells The Natchez Democrat (https://bit.ly/1mU0Ecu ) 20-year-old Jhakeel Q. Hawkins, was arrested Friday. Hawkins is being held without bond pending an initial court appearance.
Ford says Hawkins and 22-year-old Maurice Davis are each charged with murder in the shooting death of 20-year-old Terrence Thornburg. Davis also is being held without bond.

Ford says investigators believe the shooting occurred during an argument between Davis and Thornburg over a dice game. Ford says Hawkins had accompanied Davis to Thornburg’s home.
