CINCINNATI (AP) - A new TLC channel reality series features a look inside the lives of two women homicide detectives in Cincinnati.

The “Women of Homicide” series follows Cincinnati detectives Jenny Luke and Jennifer Mitsch as they try to balance their difficult jobs and personal lives. Atlanta Detective Summer Benton also is featured.

Luke, who has a son in high school and one in grade school, tells The Cincinnati Enquirer (https://cin.ci/1g1iSYh ) that the program will show viewers that they are just like many normal working mothers trying to juggle jobs and raise kids.

The show, which premiers at 9 p.m. Wednesday, capitalizes on the success of the popular “Police Women of Cincinnati” reality series three years ago.

The detectives’ male co-workers play a big supporting role, with many also appearing on national TV.
