So-called analysis of the Gaza conflict by many around the world is nothing but anti-Semitism, rank and gross in nature (“Renewing the vow of ‘never again,’” Web, July 30). The informed mind is set spinning by the comments that abound. I can’t help thinking that criticism of Israel would be muted somewhat if only Jews were less capable of self-defense and more willing to use dead civilians as propaganda.

To criticize Israel for being more capable than Hamas in everything save terrorism is to apply a standard of behavior to Jews not utilized with any other party to the many conflicts now roiling our planet.
