NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - The Metro-North Railroad is reporting 15-minute delays on the New Haven, Harlem and Hudson lines because of weather-related conditions.

The commuter railroad is urging customers to listen for announcements at train stations on Monday morning. It says the delays are due to speed restrictions prompted by weather conditions.

The National Weather Service says some parts of the Connecticut shoreline and the New York City area saw up to 2½ inches of snow overnight. Temperatures remained in the teens in many areas by mid-morning.

Commuters expressed frustration on Twitter Monday morning and have said they’re fed up after a series of problems, including power outages and downed wires that have stranded some passengers in recent weeks.
