PARIS (AP) - Veteran striker Djibril Cisse scored his first goal since joining Bastia as the Corsican club won 3-1 at Toulouse to climb to 10th place in the French league on Tuesday.

Cisse joined last month after an unhappy spell with Russian club Kuban Krasnodar. The 32-year-old forward put Bastia ahead in the 11th minute, picking up a loose ball 20 meters out and firing home a powerful shot.

Israel striker Eden Ben Basat equalized for Toulouse in the 25th when he headed in Martin Braithwaite’s cross, only for right back Francois-Joseph Modesto to restore the lead on the stroke of halftime.

After Toulouse midfielder Clement Chantome was sent off in the 73rd, substitute forward Gianni Bruno sealed the win with a penalty in injury time.

Toulouse is in 12th place.
