PHOENIX (AP) - Maricopa County homeowners will see how much their homes are worth when tax valuations begin arriving in the mail soon.
The Maricopa County Assessor’s Office on Friday began sending out about 1.6 million valuation notices for tax year 2015 to all property owners in Arizona’s most populous county.
In a continuation of last year’s trend, single-family residential properties have shown a double-digit increase in median full-cash value.
The double digit increase over two consecutive tax years brings the median single-family full-cash value up to about $160,000.
The assessor’s office says all classes of property in the county showed value improvement for the first time in seven years.
