SOMERVILLE, Maine (AP) - A 20-year-old Camden man has died in a crash in the Maine town of Somerville.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department says Alden Pease was killed Friday morning.

Authorities say Pease was driving west on Route 17 when he lost control of his SUV and swerved into oncoming traffic, hitting a box truck. The accident happened around 7 a.m.

The sheriff’s department tells WMTW-TV (https://bit.ly/1cBlKJV ) that the road had not been treated with sand or salt before the accident.

The driver of the truck was not hurt.
