SAN DIMAS, Calif. (AP) - Two boys on probation have been recaptured after they ran away from a fire crew at a Southern California park.

City News Service says the juvenile inmates were caught at a freeway underpass Monday afternoon, about three hours after they left a minimum-security fire crew working at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas.

The San Gabriel Valley Tribune (https://bit.ly/1gxDEw7 ) says the boys dumped their orange jumpsuits when they fled.

The names of the boys and the nature of their crimes weren’t disclosed.
