MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Authorities say a 9-year-old girl died at a Missoula hospital a day after suffering serious injuries in a head-on collision south of Lolo.

The Montana Highway Patrol says a 23-year-old woman lost control of her pickup truck on Highway 93 at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday, and the vehicle drifted over the center line and struck a sport utility vehicle.

The pickup driver, identified by the coroner’s office Monday as Hannah Capen, died at the scene. The Missoulian reports (https://bit.ly/1hivERw) the 9-year-old girl who died, Meghan Okon, was a passenger in the SUV.

The crash also injured a 25-year-old man in the pickup, the 47-year-old female driver of the SUV and another girl in the SUV.
