NORTHFIELD, Vt. (AP) - Vermont’s Norwich University has two new trustees.

The Northfield-based university says Maxine Jo Grad of Moretown and John C. Koziol of Rockwall, Texas, are the school’s newest trustees.

Grad is a state representative and an attorney and educator who is vice chair of the Vermont House Judiciary Committee.

Grad represents Duxbury, Fayston, Moretown, Warren and Waitsfield. She has been recognized for her work on public safety, children’s issues, women’s health and highway safety.

In 2001, Grad was elected to her first term as state representative for Vermont.

Lt. Gen. John Koziol is a 1976 Norwich graduate. He retired in 2012 after a 36-year career in the U.S. Air Forces.

He is the vice president of Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems.
