AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Freshman Brittany Hamilton scored 19 points and Argyle rolled over Geronimo Navarro 64-37 Thursday in the Class 3A state semifinals.

Delaney Sain and Jesse Sheridan each scored 13 points for Argyle (36-1) which got its 24th consecutive victory

Argyle shot 54 percent while holding their opponent under 50 points for the 36th time this season. The Lady Eagles scored 36 points in the paint, attempted only one 3-pointer and led 36-20 by halftime.

Summer Sahd scored 16 points and Shannon Thompson scored 15 for Navarro (33-8), the only unranked team to make the 3A tournament. The Panthers hadn’t played in the state tournament since 1955.

Argyle won the 2A state championship in 2006.
