AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Brock moved a step from a record sixth-straight girls’ basketball championship and ninth overall with a 78-38 win over Franklin in the Class 2A playoffs.

Lexi Ducat led Brock with 18 points, 12 rebounds, three blocked shots and two assists in 18 minutes. Rachel Williams added 13 points and six rebounds, and Rachel Harrell collected 11 points and nine rebounds.

Brock (35-2) led Franklin 67-27 after three quarters, with a 43-9 rebounding edge. The Eagles finished with a 68-19 rebounding advantage, and 12 different Eagles collected rebounds.

Kyla Walker led Franklin with 17 points. Carrie Casey added 10 points and Regan Blajeski finished with six. Franklin (30-6) had 17 turnovers total.

Brock meets Wall in the 1:30 p.m. Saturday Class 2A championship game.
