JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - A longtime radio broadcaster and a longtime newspaper reporter in eastern North Dakota have been elected to the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Hall of Fame.

Dan Keating and Greg DeVillers in recent voting each received at least 75 percent approval -the threshold for induction.

Keating has spent more than 35 years in radio. He’s worked at stations in Grafton, Williston and Devils Lake, and since 1993 has been at KMAV in Mayville, which his family now owns. He’s broadcast more than 6,500 games in his career and has been North Dakota Sportscaster of the Year five times.

DeVillers has been with the Grand Forks Herald since 1975. He’s won numerous writing awards and is a six-time winner of the North Dakota Sportswriter of the Year award.
