BOSTON (AP) - Scott Eatherton posted his fifth consecutive double-double, scoring 11 points and pulling down 11 rebounds, as Northeastern beat Hofstra, 81-73, for the second time in less than two weeks.

Northeastern (8-16, 5-5 Colonial Athletic Association) has beaten the Pride five times in a row.

Zeke Upshaw’s 3-pointer with 12:50 to play gave Hofstra (7-17, 3-6) a 46-45 lead, but it didn’t last long. David Walker answered with a 3 of his own and the Huskies would never trail again.

A layup by Upshaw pulled the Pride within two with about 4 ½ minutes remaining before NU used a 10-4 run to open up a 77-69 advantage with 1:26 left.

Chris Jenkins hit a 3-pointer just 7 seconds later to pull the Pride within five, but they wouldn’t score again.

Walker led Northeastern, which shot 55 percent from the floor, with 15 points.

Dion Nesmith paced Hofstra with 20 points.
