CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Javonte Green scored a career-high 33 points, including a put-back that gave Radford the lead for good in the final minutes of a see-saw game, defeating Charleston Southern 82-76 Wednesday night.

The Highlanders (15-9, 5-4 Big South) scored 17 points in the final 3:11 - starting with Green’s tip - as they battled from as many as five down in the last 7 minutes to surge ahead by as many as seven. Green sank 6 of 7 free throws in the final 1:31 to frustrate Charleston, which is still without leading scorer Saah Nimley.

Green collected 11 rebounds for his 21st career double-double. Ya Ya Anderson added 16 points, R.J. Price and Kion Brown scored 10 each.

Sheldon Strickland scored 17 for the Buccaneers (10-12, 4-5) and Matt Kennedy added 16.

Radford shot 57 percent (28-49) in a game that saw five ties and nine lead changes.
