STILLWATER, Minn. (AP) - A three-time state champion swimmer for Stillwater High School who gained more than 100 pounds in subsequent years is the grand prize winner of the NBC-TV show “Biggest Loser.”

Twenty-four-year-old Rachel Frederickson started at 260 pounds and shed 155 pounds, or more than half her body weight, to win the $250,000 prize at the show’s live finale Tuesday night. Frederickson had the highest percentage of weight loss of the three finalists at nearly 60 percent.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press (https://bit.ly/1g1pOSL ) says Frederickson won many of the show’s competitions, including a triathlon, curling match and bobsled race.
