BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A Baton Rouge high school was placed on lockdown for a time Thursday after a shooting was reported in a nearby neighborhood.

The Times-Picayune reports (https://bit.ly/1g7bw32 ) police are looking for suspects in the shooting, which happened in the 5700 block of Longfellow Drive.

As a precaution, the campus of Redemptorist High School was placed on lockdown. Authorities say the lockdown has been lifted.



Investigators say one man was wounded and was taken to a local hospital. His injuries were described as not life-threatening.
