METAIRIE, La. (AP) - State authorities say a former New Orleans teacher has been arrested after they discovered child pornography in his Metairie home.

Investigators with the state attorney general’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested 42-year-old Don Francis Wednesday after serving a search warrant at his apartment.

The Times-Picayune reports (https://bit.ly/1o0ra5P ) they seized computers, CDs and other computer-related devices and conducted a forensic preview.

Authorities say they found several images and videos of children — newborns to preteens - being raped or put in other sexually explicit poses.

Francis was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna. He is being held on a $220,000 bond.

It was unclear whether he has an attorney.
