LOS ANGELES (AP) - Scientists say a small earthquake has rattled Los Angeles.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude-3.0 quake hit at 10:13 a.m. Saturday and was centered 2 miles east of Hollywood.

Such quakes are too small to cause damage.

The quake was felt as far west as Culver City and as far east as Pasadena, according to online responses by residents collected by the USGS.
