CAPE CORAL, Fla. (AP) - A woman in southwest Florida says she hopes to find the owner of a camera chip with pictures of U.S. Army soldiers.

Melanie Lempke found the camera photo disk on the ground of a store parking lot in December. On it were more than 100 photos of soldiers overseas. Some photos show soldiers holding guns, hugging and smiling. The photos were taken in 2011 between August and December.

Lempke told the News-Press (https://newspr.es/1jmHKfO) that the photos “have sentimental value to somebody.”

The News-Press learned at least one of the soldiers was a member of the 1st Armored Division out of Fort Bliss, Texas. But authorities couldn’t say whether the soldier was still based there.
