CLINTON, Miss. (AP) - The Mississippi College Singers will be featured in three winter concerts in the Jackson area.

The performances by the 55-member student group are free and open to the public.

Concert dates are:

- Feb. 16, Galloway United Methodist Church, Jackson, 6 p.m.

- Feb. 23, Crossgates United Methodist Church, Brandon, 6 p.m.

- March 2, Provine Chapel at Mississippi College, Clinton, 4 p.m.

In the spring, the Mississippi College Singers, directed by music professor Jamie Meaders, will perform at a Southern convention of American choral conductors. The convention will be in Jacksonville, Fla.

The group also plans to travel to South Africa in May for a series of concerts.

Students are seeking to of raise $4,000 each that is required for their second journey to South Africa in recent years.
