EL PASO, Texas (AP) - The autopsy report of a baby found buried in the New Mexico desert in November says pathologists couldn’t determine the identity or the cause of death of the 5-month-old.

The El Paso Times (https://bit.ly/1dtrhCi ) reports the autopsy by the University of New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator couldn’t establish the baby’s identity, but the autopsy report refers to the infant as Jackson Farrey. His parents were arrested in November in Michigan.

The report also says the child was small for his age.

Jeffrey Farrey has been indicted on charges of injury to a child by omission; Jenna Farrey remains jailed for a probation violation when she fled El Paso. She was on probation from an earlier child-endangerment case involving her older child.
