RENO, Nev. (AP) - A Nevada wildlife committee will begin a review of the state’s black bear hunt.

The review was mandated by the Nevada Legislature after critics sought to abolish it.

The committee meets Friday.

This was the third year Nevada had a bear hunting season. Fourteen bears were killed in 2013, bringing the total for all three years to 39.
