DETROIT (AP) - Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has filed manslaughter charges against three adults in the death of a 4-year-old Detroit boy who was accidentally shot by his 4-year-old cousin as they played.

Worthy says the three were at a house Thursday when a girl found a loaded rifle in a room where children were playing.

Authorities say the girl shot Jamel Witcher Jr. in the chest.

Fifty-three-year-old Patricia Johnson and 66-year-old Robert B. Richardson face involuntary manslaughter, child abuse and firearms charges. Police are seeking 55-year-old Harvey Witcher on charges of involuntary manslaughter and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

A Detroit district judge set $200,000 bonds Sunday for Johnson and Richardson and scheduled a Jan. 31 probable-cause hearing.

It unknown if the suspects have lawyers.
