CHICAGO (AP) - Forecasters say Illinois is poised to see more frigid weather.

National Weather Service forecasters in the Chicago area say northern Illinois will see overnight temperatures Monday into Tuesday as low as 4 below zero. Wind chills are forecast at between 15 and 25 degrees below zero with winds of up to 20 mph.

The National Weather Service in Lincoln, in central Illinois, has issued wind chill advisories for areas around Galesburg, Pekin and Peoria. Wind chill advisories also have been issued for northern Illinois. The Chicago-area is under a lake effect snow warning.

The cold weather is expected to stretch through Thursday.
