BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say a Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center employee was arrested Wednesday on a charge of embezzlement.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1fbo8HN ) Biloxi police and the State Auditor’s Office believed former Assistant Box Office Manager Brian Douglas Gregory allegedly stole nearly $32,000 from ATMs owned by the state.

Detective Carl Short said Gregory, who had keys and knew the ATM passwords and combinations, allegedly stole money frequently between May and October 2013 by just walking up to the machine and withdrawing money.

Gregory was released from the Harrison County jail Wednesday afternoon after posting a $30,000 bond.

It was unclear whether he has an attorney.
