SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - The Onondaga County 911 Dispatch Center logged nearly 40 car accidents on snow-slick roads during Friday’s morning rush hour.

At least of the six of the mishaps occurred on Interstate-690, causing delays in both the eastbound and westbound lanes in the Syracuse area.

Several minor accidents were reported near the city line and at the New York State Fairgrounds in nearby Geddes between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
