CLINTON, Mass. (AP) - A Worcester woman has pleaded guilty to stealing money from the plumbing company where she worked by adding hours to her time cards.

Melissa Reyes-Maisonet was sentenced to 18 months in prison with the entire sentence suspended with probation. She was also ordered to pay $15,500 in restitution, even though authorities say she may have stolen around $30,000 from the Boylston plumbing company where she did payroll work.

The Telegram & Gazette (https://bit.ly/19RTSC3 ) reports that the 36-year-old woman pleaded guilty Thursday to larceny over $250.

Investigator say Reyes-Maisonet was adding hours onto her time card for about a year and a half. There were instances in which she doubled her hours, claiming to work from 40 to 80 hours.
