MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire man has been sentenced to at least four years in prison after pleading guilty to causing an accident that killed another driver.

Jeffrey Garcia of Salem pleaded guilty to negligent homicide, second-degree assault and reckless conduct stemming from the Oct. 30, 2011, accident in Manchester.

Prosecutors said Garcia was driving north on Interstate 93 when a woman attempted to pass him. Whether she sped up or slowed down, he matched his speed to hers. The behavior continued to I-293, where prosecutors said he cut off her car, causing her to lose control of the vehicle and roll down an embankment into the median.

She and a front-seat passenger were ejected and she died. The passenger suffered serious injuries. Three children in the back escaped without serious injuries.
