Assumption Schools to reopen Friday

NAPOLEONVILLE, La. (AP) - Assumption Parish schools officials say the parish’s public schools will remain closed Thursday but will reopen on Friday.

The schools closed earlier this week because of an Arctic blast that brought freezing rain, sleet and snow to parts of the South this week.
