GREENFIELD, Mass. (AP) - A 19-year-old Deerfield man is facing charges in connection a car crash that took the life of an 83-year-old Montague woman.

The Recorder (https://bit.ly/MEkZq0 ) reports that Aaron Stark was released on personal recognizance after pleading not guilty Thursday to vehicular homicide by negligent operation, manslaughter, and being a minor in possession of alcohol in connection with the November crash.

Police say Stark’s vehicle collided head-on with a car driven by 83-year-old Celia Allen. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say it appears Stark’s car crossed the centerline.

Stark is ordered not to operate any motor vehicle, and to remain alcohol free.
