There isn’t a single country anywhere on this planet that doesn’t protect its borders; that is, with the lone exception of the United States. Both political parties seem unable to reach the basic understanding that our country first and foremost must secure its borders. Now, to now make matters much worse, President Obama has taken action through “executive privilege,” saying that states’ underage illegals will not be punished or prosecuted.

This action has greatly influenced families in impoverished countries to send their youngsters here in an attempt to get into the United States and eventually get all kinds of benefits. This unlawful action could be stopped abruptly if the Obama administration had sent these young people back immediately. Obviously, this is not happening, and the consequences will be dire, as welfare programs are already overloaded with needy American citizens. More Americans are now on welfare and need food stamps than ever before.

I don’t know what is being accomplished with this massive influx of illegals, other than enlisting future Democratic voters and helping to speed up the almost certain demographic shift in the country. This also ensures the wrath of many poor Americans, no matter what their color or creed.

Meanwhile, Mr. Obama is willing to let all these illegals flood the country, but he won’t pick up the phone to make one call to Mexico’s president to obtain the release of one American Marine who crossed inadvertently into Mexico and has been imprisoned there for more than three months.
