PRINCETON, W.Va. (AP) - A West Virginia middle school principal says students were mistakenly served raw chicken during lunch but no children have reported being sick.

Princeton Middle School principal Danny Buckner told Bluefield Daily Telegraph (https://bit.ly/PpRqKd) that a pan of chicken was pulled before it was cooked during lunch on Monday.

Only about 20 children were served the chicken and it took only about five minutes before school cooks noticed and made the children throw away the chicken. Children were then given another food option.

Buckner said the school has not had any reports of anyone being sick.
