POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Investigators are trying to determine what caused a South Florida warehouse fire that left one man dead.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office reports that Pompano Beach firefighters responded to the fire early Tuesday morning. Sheriff’s office homicide detectives arrived later that morning after the firefighters found the body of 53-year-old Robert Posley.

Authorities say Posley had apparently been sleeping in the warehouse, where he occasionally worked.

Officials say Posley may have died from injuries sustained during the fire, but the medical examiner’s office will determine an official cause of death.
