ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - A suspect has been arrested in last month’s fatal shooting of a North Texas shoe store manager during a robbery.

Arlington City Jail records show 21-year-old Jacob Galen Everett of Arlington was being held without bond Wednesday on a murder charge. Online jail records do not list an attorney for Everett, who was booked Tuesday night.

Investigators say Randy Pacheco was found slain Feb. 25 at a Red Wing Shoes store in a strip mall. Police released security video showing a hooded suspect with a gun inside the business.

Detectives received dozens of tips that helped lead to a vehicle matching the description of one seen in the parking lot around the time of the killing. Police determined the vehicle belongs to Everett.
