RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Troy Locke scored 14 points and IC Norcom orchestrated a dramatic fourth-quarter comeback and beat John Handley 59-52 in the Virginia High School League’s 4A boys state championship game Thursday at the VCU Siegel Center.

Norcom (23-5) trailed 40-26 entering the final quarter, but rallied to claim its third state title in five years.

The Greyhounds began the fourth quarter with a 21-2 run. With 3:51 left and the score tied, Craig Ingram hit a layup and was fouled on the play. He made the free throw, giving Norcom a 45-42 lead, and John Handley never recovered.



Antonio Parker added 10 points for IC Norcom. Cameron Jackson scored 20 for Handley, which committed 21 turnovers.

Norcom went 17-27 from the free throw line. Handley was 2-8.
