CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Morgan McSmith scored 11 points and La Salle Prep defeated La Grande 63-36 on Wednesday night in the quarterfinals of the OSAA Class 4A girls tournament.

The second-seeded Falcons (24-1) advance to play a semifinal Friday against Mazama, which defeated Philomath 46-41.

Earlier in the day, top-seeded Sutherlin defeated Brookings-Harbor 62-41 and Seaside downed Henley 51-48 to set up Friday’s other semifinal.

Auslin McDaniel-Perrin had 11 points and eight rebounds for the seventh-seeded La Grande (17-6). It was the 18th straight victory for La Salle Prep.

Caileigh Smith had 12 points and 10 rebounds, Megan Morris had 14 points and Amber Lease added 12 for sixth-seeded Mazama (21-3), which extended its winning streak to 13 straight games.

Tierra Stephenson had 17 points and Brenna Marshall added 11 for third-seeded Philomath (21-4).

Olivia Gulliford had 22 points and Ricki Mock added 12 rebounds for top-seeded Sutherlin (25-0), which is making its third straight appearance in the tournament. Last season Sutherlin lost in the semifinals to La Grande.

Courtney Kay had 12 points and seven rebounds for ninth-seeded Brookings-Harbor (23-3), which also lost both of its Far West League games to Sutherlin this season.

Maddi Utti had 21 points and eight rebounds for fourth-seeded Seaside (23-2). She scored a layup to give the Seagulls a 24-23 lead at the half and they pushed the advantage to as many as eight points in the second half.

But Brittany Kochenderfer hit a jumper with 1:09 left to pull Henley to a 48-all tie, before Haylee Dundas made a 3-pointer with 53 seconds to go for the win.

Dundas finished with 13 points for Seaside, which had not been to the tournament since 2006.

Natalie DeLonge had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead fifth-seeded Henley (21-4).
