NEW YORK (AP) - Geaux Mets cruised to a 6½-length victory Friday in the $62,000 allowance feature for 3-year-olds at Aqueduct.

The gray gelding ridden by Cornelio Velasquez and trained by David Jacobson improved to 3 for 7. The time was 1:11.13 for six furlongs on the fast track.

Geaux Mets paid $5.80, $3.20 and $2.10 as the 9-5 favorite.

Eye Luv Lulu, the early trailer in the five-horse field, rallied to finish second and returned $3.20 and $2.30. Bass River Road paid $2.20 to show.
