SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Three Shreveport area were have been arrested following a fight at a downtown nightclub.
Police say just after 2 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to an assault and battery call at the Phoenix Underground nightclub. On arrival officers learned that a brawl occurred inside the club, involving several patrons and members of the club’s security personnel.
The Times reports (https://bit.ly/1qJsGdQ ) officers learned that two men who tried to end the fight suffered minor injuries after being cut with a broken glass bottle.
Police arrested three men they determined to be part of the brawl. One was identified as 24-year-old Vicente Zelaya, who was booked with aggravated battery and disturbing the peace by fighting. Two others, Nelson Zelaya Jr. and Saulde Camacho, both 23, were booked with disturbing the peace by fighting.
