HAYS, Kan. (AP) - Trey Dubbert scored 20 points, including five 3-pointers, as Beloit-St. Johns held on to beat Sharon Springs-Wallace County 60-58 on Saturday in the Class 1A-Division 2 championship.

Connor Eilert, Luke Eilert and Parker Gates added 10 apiece for Beloit-St. Johns (25-1).

Nate Klinge had 29 points, on 10-of-21 shooting, for Sharon Springs-Wallace County (23-3).

Beloit-St. Johns broke the game open in the second quarter by outscoring Sharon Springs-Wallace County 21-9 and held on in the fourth despite giving up 26 points.
